I can't remember the last time I felt this confident about a test I probably did badly on. I mean, the lab practical in the morning went exceptionally well, probably a 100%. But the lecture exam most likely kicked the crap out of me, despite actual effort to study this time around. If it does go badly, I'm going to blame it on having to be awake and in class by 9 am for the first time in a month. This is, in fact, an awful excuse and I know it. But I have to blame it on something, right? Who's with me on this? It couldn't possibly be my own fault for playing Sega Genesis games during lecture, could it?
Just finished Soul Nomad, too. What a mix of really cool and exceptionally disappointing that was. It's no Disgaea, for sure. I didn't even enjoy it as much as Ogre Battle, which came out more than ten years ago and seems to be the major source of inspiration. But it filled the void in a way that Halo 3 simply can't. In fact, I haven't picked Halo 3 up since the moment I brought Soul Nomad home. Probably time to give it another shot, before I fall too before behind the competition.
We got partial schedules for next month today, and for the first time in months I have classes monday - friday. Excellent! Two day weekends are the best! Oh, and it's 3 am. I suppose I should get some sleep. I'm on it!
