I should try my hand at bitching about fantasy sports more often, since I won both my football games this week. Hockey's still in the gutter, but I'll take 2 for 4 any day. Here's to a rash of injuries on opposing teams, woo!
So focus entirely on my school calender came up to bite me in the ass today. Who knew it was Columbus Day, really? I woke up extra early with the intention of getting stuff done for the first time in god only knows how long. The post office was closed. The bank was closed. The financial aid office wasn't accepting walk-ins. Essentially, I gave up three hours of sleep on a test day to drive all over Florida and listen to Super Tramp. No that I'm complaining about the Super Tramp.
The soldering thing came back to haunt me again. This time I managed to put the entire microphone cable together, but one of my solder joints was done poorly so I lost 10 points on the first lab practical. Yeah, that's pretty weak sauce. I also found out that I got a 75% on the lab practical from last month that I was sure I had a 100% on. So much for being an academic juggernaut. Maxwell Dorian, salutatorian and such.
Today in history, Tom Ridge was appointed director of Homeland Security. Also, a big happy birthday to Matt Damon. Woohoo!
